I own an FX in 22. There is a serious 22 rimfire shooter at my range and I would like to ask this question. What do you think would be the distance the Vegas handicappers would spot me at 50yd to make it a contest? No slug claims please. I shoot pellets and yes we have wind.

Based on how good air rifles are doing vs. Rimfires in the N50 monthly matches, I’m not sure you would get a 10 yard spot. Do a search on “N50 Results” and take a look. There are some seriously good air gun pellet scores vs. Sportsman RF rifles at 50 yards, with wind!
Having said that, my two Annie RF’s always beat my average scoring at 50 yards vs. my RAW HM1000x and Redwolf Safari; both .22 HP great bench guns.

DHC, Tommy has a point. 2021 N50 end of season scores show the Pellet class out-shot the Sportsman RF/Slug class scores and a pellet gun came in 2nd place against all other RFs. I don't think you will find another source of data where 22RF and pellets are shot at the same time for a good comparison. OTH, an unaware RF shooter could easily be 'shamed' into spotting you 10 yards or more, after all it's just a BB gun
