My FX Impact MKII PP .22!!

The .22 pellets cost less and there are plenty of the various types around so no doubt they are easier to get hold of. You get more shots so less air refills with the .22. There are lots of slugs out for the.22 these days also. So I would say unless you want the extreme range or need the higher power of the .25 the .22 will do you fine. These are all things you should think seriously about before you buy the .25cal ;^)

I bought mine in the .25 like the others above. Shot the JSB 25.39 then graduated to the 33.95 and then got a slug liner like the wimpamzee. Now I plink with the 36.2 NSA HP slugs at 200 yards for the most part these days and it's a blast.

First, the Impact is a fantastic gun. I'm getting ready to order my second Impact and upgrade the first with a Power Plenum. Accurate, and the rest.

My Impact is a .25. Next will be a .22. Which should you get? Depends on what you want to do with it.

First, does Italy have something like a 12 foot pound limit on guns without a firearms license? If so, and you don't have a license, .22 or .177. That's a whole different situation.

For long range shooting such as 100 yards, the .25 is a laser without wind. The .22 will do just fine at 100, but doesn't seem to buck the wind quite as well.

For hunting, what's the game? If small like squirrels up to rabbits, the .22 can do just fine.

Air might be an issue as well, the .22 is more economical and the pellets are cheaper. In the US, JSB pellet tins sell for about $18. the .22 is 500 pellets and the .25 tins hold 300, so a difference of 40% in cost.

If punching paper at 50 yards, a .22 will be a good gun all the way around.

Just depends on what you want to do.

I had the same questions you have. I ended up going with the .22 mainly because of cost for the pellets and shot count. Living in America I have other powder burners when I want a little more knockdown power. Im happy with my decision, but like I say I have other guns to fill specific needs. A .25 would have been my choice without the other options I already have. I know this didn't directly answer your question, but hopefully it will give you something to consider.

You know, maybe that's the answer I was looking for !! That kind of answer that goes straight to the point !!
Excellent because I also have several firearms from .22lr to .308win which I am forced to use in an authorized shooting range ... While this FX Impact would be just that little bit more than .177 and that little bit less than. 22lr ... So I really think that at this point I can safely, thanks to you, throw on the .22
Thanks

Hello guys!!!

In the end I went to the armory and ordered the Impact mk2 with power plenum in .22! But for the Italian market it is only available with stx pellet liner A in 500mm ...

No problem!!

I immediately ordered the kit via the parallel market "Barrel Kit FX Impact Smooth Twist X 700mm” and today upon arrival I realized that inside there was not the 700mm stx pellet liner A but rather the smooth twist X superior!!!

Now my question is: were they wrong?
Or is FX now adopting the new stx superior liner on all kits?
How do i know if it is Standard or Heavy stx superior liner?

Previously, since the superior was not available, I also ordered the Slug liner A...
So what do I do now? Mount the slug liner A or leave the stx superior?

The huma TP with its pellet probe will also arrive shortly for increase fps.

thank

Impact will arrive in a few days and I will be ready to start testing between the two barrels, since there is almost nothing on YT about it...
