My FX Crown is completed:) and a few special thanks

Ive finally “completed” my crown. I got a set of fx no limit rings for my hawke endurance scope, which is amazing and crystal clear. Along with that was my final touch, a Donnyfl sumo! I have always liked the look of Donny’s suppressor but never had a gun that I could fit it to, also the crown was pretty damn quiet stock but boy I tell you what! Like a kid on Christmas I booked it to the post office today to get my adapter for the sumo, slapped it on the gun. I had to drop the Browns off at the super bowl so I went to the bathroom and from my window I saw a pigeon on the power line. I yell to my wife, “ ayyyy wifey sauce bring my gun here please”. She brought it to me and said “why do you need your gun on the toilet? You better not shoot that out the window”. I said ok and she left to start filling the dryer (which is right outside my bathroom door) I took aim at the bird bout 40 yards away, pull the trigger and damn I was blown away( so was the pigeon). All I heard was the mechanics of the gun and the loudest part was the bird eating a jsb. Wife didn’t even hear it go off:) now that’s quiet. I couldn’t be more giddy! I’m now living the dream!!!! I forgot to sight it in because of poi shift but it must not have shifted that much because bird died instantly. Will defy be shooting more birds from my manly throne lol the sumo does make the gun a tad longer then the gun with its shroud extended but that’s fine. All in all, I’m just happy ? also just found out yesterday my wife is expecting a child (my first) so I’m grateful I got my gun when and got everything I need for it now cause now I got a child coming to eat up all my cash:)

anyways I just wanted to give a couple thanks!
@aeac @mattdubber @tedsholdover
thank you guys for all the videos which helped me decide the crown was what I wanted! You guys do a wonderful job :)

shout out to @TylerE on this forum for selling me the no limit rings and donnyfl. I got a screamin deal and the transaction was flawless( my first on airgunnation) so thank you for that. The guy is nice and is trusted. Dont hesitate to do business with him!

Shout out out to @Ryan at Utah airguns. Very very helpful and an extremely nice guy. Was my first time doing business there and I couldn’t be happier. If you do business with them ask for Ryan you won’t be disappointed.

@Donnyfl I didn’t do business with you personally but your sumo is the Bees knees man thank you:)

Last but but not least, the rest of you guys on this forum that have answered all my dumbass question. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out. I’m extremely happy to be apart of the airgun community.

Thanks everyone,
malcom

Here is a picture of the completed rifle. I couldn’t help taking a picture of it in front of my other baby, my pc. Haha built it myself, cost me 3x the crown and don’t get to show it off much:(

i built it with the main intention of blasting small game:) plinking is just a bonus! I chose the crown because of
A. Shot count (.22 at sub 12ft gets 700+ shots!!! Plink for days)
B. Adjustability (.22 to .30 is big)
C. Report of gun

I wanted an impact but I didn’t want to wait and also the crown is more straight forward and maintenance would be easier with it having less o rings and moving parts. My only regret is the length but after shooting it I really don’t care.

@michael

o wow that is absolutely amazing:) I can’t beleive it!!! They make an amazing product and I can’t express enough how happy I am with my rifle!! It’s cool they liked my story! It doesn’t seem like a big deal, but to me that’s a pretty big deal! I’m happy to share that experience and even more happy they enjoyed my tale of said experience!!!

ooooooooo duhhh lol tbh i mainly use to for gaming as of now. 1440p 144hz sync. But I built it to do whatever I may want to do. I play drums as well and will eventually dabble in some music production and video editing. Plus I like going balls to the wall! Sooo I put an core i7-7820x and a gtx 1080 in it. I was getting a second 1080 and replacing the cpu with a i7-7900x but I spent that money on my crown, so I gotta wait til summer. 1tb ssd, 500gb m.2, 4 tb hdd. 32gb tridentz RGB ram (16gb sticks). Under a full ekwb waterloop (I have the second gpu block as well just waiting). I also have a second monitor not shown I use for showing vitals and what not.
