I had no idea what to expect at this thing except it would probably have 1 or 2 guns I'd like ....Man I was WRONG !! This place had some of the nicest airguns I've seen online or in person !! Jack brought a HW30 with a stock I still am thinking about and was gracious enough to let me set a couple of my FWB rifles on his table , got to not only meet him but Bill Enright who sold a scope for me so fast I'm pretty sure is some kind of devil ....or at least a hypnotist . Jonnes who is such a good contributor to the forum and is a blast to talk with , if any of you guys reads one of his post trust me from getting to meet Jonnes in person , he is sharp as a knife and one of the classiest and funny gentlemen I've been lucky to meet in this little airgun community of ours .
Got to spend some time with Johnny Kitchens that is very active on Yellow forum and is an absolute blast to talk to ! And even had to good fortune to meet a guy who I think I'll leave nameless so won't be anyone begging for goodies. Lol. That read that I hadn't been able to try the Crosman premiere pellets that came in the cardboard boxes and was gracious enough to bring me a box with what looks like a couple hundred lubed and cleaned pellets to try !!!! How cool is that ?! And how super cool is he for doing such a thing !! Rode up with my new airgun buddy Willie who I had met here but not in person till Saturday morning early who's wife whispered " oh poop " to him when she saw my big ass with the eyepatch ... That tickled me ! Willie turned out to be a really good guy and wow is he smart about so Many things .... He's getting ready to launch a website ill share a link to in another post .
The Range there is incredible along with what had to be 50 volunteers from Arlington club who shared their incredible facility to host this event . There were also airgun celebrities and they were filming for their webshows and TV shows which I guess was cool . But the BEST part of the show was finally meeting some of the really good guys in the sport in person if only for long enough to say hello . Willbi be back next year ? Absolutely !!!
Oh and Yes there were some good deals to be had , I bought a HW35 from Jonnes ( thanks again ) and probably was lucky I didn't bring more money ( next year note to self . bring MORE $ ) And I would also like to say thank you to the guys who took the time to look at the guns I had rebuilt and refinished and share their thoughts . It was very humbeling to have guys who have been in the sport so long appreciate the guns I brought .
. PS that's my bigass at the show taking a breather and telling what almost certainly is a pack of lies to these folks who drive up to attend the show
