My favorite Beeman R1's (Tyrolean & Laser)

With many choices of stocks, calibers, barrel lengths and power the Beeman R1 really is special especially back when they first came out. These are my favorites of all of them, the Laser MKI and the Tyrolean. The MKII does not quite do it for me to be honest with the ambidextrous stock and VERY high comb but I could not pass up the deal that was offered and it rounds out my R1 collection nicely. The MKIII even less so with it's total departure from spring propulsion to ram, I can't quite seem to think of the R1 as anything but a springer! I would take a MKIII if I find one to complete the set but the MKI's I really like, this one is Dave Slade tuned and is just as sweet as can be. The Tyroleans are a whole different story, super rare and just among the nicest looking air guns around for me and where my Tyrolean enthusiasm really started.
