I checked all three models of Element scopes today.
Helix, Titan and Nexus.
These are good scopes but when I compare these scopes to my Vortex viper pst gen ii 5-25x50 scopes, Vortex are better to my eyes. Further all the adjustment like zoom and parallax are very hard to move. These scopes take some time to become smooth.

I couldn't understand the hype on the media of Element scopes.

These are good but not that good.

Or may be the batch which I tested is not upto the mark.

Well personally I’m very pleased with my 2 helix scopes. I think it brighter and clearer than my hawke eclipse at 24 x and i like that the clicks of the turrets are very positive. I also think it ranges more predictably than my hawke I have no experience with vortex to compare it with but the only thing i think i could wish for in the element would be an illuminated reticle.

I just picked up a Titan and took off my vortex on my Rem. 700 and wow I love it. I like the reticle more on the titan than i do the Vortex pst tbh Im not sure about your specifically but I am not a fan of a lot of red.

Yes as far as reticle is concerned, the Element reticles are exceptionally good and bright.

I traded in my Hawke and got the Helix FFP and I have the Helix SFP scopes and I enjoy them a lot. I have the SFP on my impact and the FFP on a bolt action Savage 10 .308... I might get another PCP I was considering the Maverick something about that gun just calls to me. I have my name on a list so I'm giving myself some time to really consider if the Maverick is what I need or the wildcat mk III. I got a warehouse In the desert near Florence, Arizona and coyotes are a real problem. I also got Javelinas, stray dogs and coyotes near my house in south phoenix. so a PCP would be nice to have in both areas so I'm not constantly bringing my guns back and forth. Also we have guys that stay real late at the warehouse so a nice gun for the 3rd shift guys would be useful. you never know what might get through those gates and hang out in our make shift parking lot haha.

Well my Helix is super clear but all black, The Titan has a the ability to to brighten up the center crosshair if need be. I like that. The vortex the whole lower half was red and that can be super distracting. I go all ADD when getting sight picture haha.

I have two Titans one Helix and one Nexus and can not fault them at all I’ve compared them against my hi end Vortex and Kahles and finally my Schmidt Bender scope and I can honestly say they held up very very well. The Kahles was miles better as you would expect but for what you pay you do get a good scope. I agree that the adjustments do take a fair while to bed in. I bought them all to replace the normal run of the mill offers from Hawk and even my big Nikko.

I understand that the scopes that I saw are not original.

If you all friends have good experience with Element then I must have seen lemons.

I've heard the same. They seem to be well marketed on YouTube on FX rifles though, so there is that.

I disagree. I checked out all three. Hard pass. They are not horrible like OP said, but the glass isn't worth the price. I would rather have my Leupolds

The Vortex Viper PST Gen2 isn't clear all the way to max power and definitely not worth $999 IMHO. At least you have low expectations in glass if you think that Vortex is nice. Then again many ppl have really bad eyesight or never looked through an Alpha6 or NEW HAWKE FRONTIER and think even their Elements are clear.

Try even looking through $200 Barra HERO FT 5-25x50 or H50 and compare it side by side to the $1000 Vortex.

I believe many off the "fluff parrots" are in buyers remorse mode or got them for free or were offered to buy for half price and that's why they say what say that's so great about them about their stuff or haven't ever looked through an Alpha6 or Barra (that kicks the living crap out of most sub $1200 scopes in glass) including the $699 SWFA SS and $999 Vortex Viper PST Gen2. Other brands I won't even go there due to way too many fanbois totally utterly happy and content to pay MAP retail for their other Chinese scopes who have never looked through the other scopes mentioned to "see the light".

Good news is that Vortex has one of THE BEST warranties in the business and it's likely you're gonna need it.

in addition to the Alpha6 as a minimum base guideline to glass clarity and brightness and friendly eyebox and sight picture for ANY SCOPE AT ANY PRICEcosting more than $200 I highly recommend the $199 Leupold NON AO VX Freedom Rimfire 3-9x40 as a baseline for glass for any scope costing $200 or more. Its clear at 9x at around 25 yards and clear at 10 yards or just under that at 3-4x. Perfect light weight hunting scope with an airgun useable reticle.

You are perfectly right. Vortex pst gen ii 5-25x50 is very clear up to 20x and as I go above the picture gets blurred a bit.

I know Vortex pst gen ii is not the best glass. Yes they honour their warranty very well.

There was a time when I was using RWS 54 springer. It is known as a scope eater. This model of springer has ate many Leupolds with many users.

The best scope that sustained the beating of RWS54 was Vortex Diamondback 4-12×40 AO.

Never broke in my hands as well as in hands of many other users. Never needed to exercise warranty claim.

I had S& B MPii so I know what the good glass is. But upto 20x genii is a good glass for the price.

The other optic that you are suggesting is difficult to get for me. I am from an other country.

I normally use my scope up to 20x and at 20x and below, Element didn't appear to me any better. However Element is a bit better at full magnification.

But extremely stiff parallax and zoom tells me the story of internal quality.

As far as Hawke Frontier is concerned, I and my friends have compared the Vortex pst gen ii and Hawke Frontier side by side and we all felt that the glass of Vortex is much better.

I am not an expert but I feel so.

Bhaur

You guys probably didnt compare that Vortex PST Gen2 to the NEW HAWKE FRONTIER WITH H7 GLASS.

MY OLD HAWKE FRONTIERS GLASS ARE RATHER JUNK WHEN COMPARED TO THE NEW H7 FRONTIER AND ALPHA6 GLASS.

Even the NEW HAWKE H5 SIDEWINDER 30 6-24X56 has nicer glass than the Vortex and clear all the way to max power.

I bet if you look through a cheap Discovery HD 4-20x50 you might like what you see better than that Vortex even if it's glass is not as nice as the Alpha6 or H7 Frontier.

https://m.alibaba.com/product/60779335828/Discovery-HD-4-20X50-SFIR-DLTW.html

I know several airgunners who recently SOLD their $899-$999 Vortex Viper PST Gen2s because of the $200 Alpha6 they compared the glass to.

My high end benchmark in nice glass are the March brand then comes Nightforce and Leupold and Tract.

You may be very right as I really have not seen those models that you have mentioned.

I will try to find one.
