I checked all three models of Element scopes today.
Helix, Titan and Nexus.
These are good scopes but when I compare these scopes to my Vortex viper pst gen ii 5-25x50 scopes, Vortex are better to my eyes. Further all the adjustment like zoom and parallax are very hard to move. These scopes take some time to become smooth.
I couldn't understand the hype on the media of Element scopes.
These are good but not that good.
Or may be the batch which I tested is not upto the mark.

The Vortex Viper PST Gen2 isn't clear all the way to max power and definitely not worth $999 IMHO. At least you have low expectations in glass if you think that Vortex is nice. Then again many ppl have really bad eyesight or never looked through an Alpha6 or NEW HAWKE FRONTIER and think even their Elements are clear.
Try even looking through $200 Barra HERO FT 5-25x50 or H50 and compare it side by side to the $1000 Vortex.
I believe many off the "fluff parrots" are in buyers remorse mode or got them for free or were offered to buy for half price and that's why they say what say that's so great about them about their stuff or haven't ever looked through an Alpha6 or Barra (that kicks the living crap out of most sub $1200 scopes in glass) including the $699 SWFA SS and $999 Vortex Viper PST Gen2. Other brands I won't even go there due to way too many fanbois totally utterly happy and content to pay MAP retail for their other Chinese scopes who have never looked through the other scopes mentioned to "see the light".
Good news is that Vortex has one of THE BEST warranties in the business and it's likely you're gonna need it.
