Just want to do a shout out to Shane of Element Optics for replying my email plead to replace one of my Helix scope that I was having some focusing issues with. When I adjust the parallax to focus on the targets, I would see clear images thru my eye, but most often or not the recorded footages from my SideShot setup would be out of focus. I had this scope on my Impact and as some of you may have watched my videos would have seen the fuzzy footages. The one on my Crown however, is working really well and the footages were very clear. My set up with the SideShot are the same for both guns, so my only conclusion was that scope has some issue.
I emailed my supplier to see if he would do a replacement but he never replied me for over 5 days. I got impatient so I emailed Element Optics to see if I could get some response. To my surprise, Shane replied me within a couple of hours and told me to send back the scope to my dealer and get a new replacement scope as they are of lifetime warranty. I was very happy to say the least that Shane has took his time to address this issue for me. What a great customer service!
I then emailed the dealer and cc Shane, and got a reply the next morning. A couple of weeks later, the new Helix scope arrived and so far my recorded images are clear.
There are some reports out there that these Element scopes are no good, but to me, they are just about perfect. I know the higher ends Element scopes are expensive, but for me the Helix is priced right with the features that suit me perfectly.
So my experience with Element Optics is a very positive one.
Enjoy this video as I also mentioned I will be testing and reviewing the new H&N Gen2 slugs in 25 and 27gr. I have shot the 27gr and got great result. It will be used for my next coyote hunt.
