I bought this rifle in the classifieds here on AGN.
This rifle doesn't have much "soul". It is a simple thing but with that X-Sight is one killing machine. It is currently shooting the JSB 25.39 grain pellets right around 785 FPS. I pulled it out this afternoon. It hasn't been on the bench in a long time. I had a 10x mil/mil UTG on it and pulled it to put the X-Sight II back. Not pretty. No soul. But like I said, this rifle is a killing machine.
I put it on the bench after installing the ATN and shot a shot at 10 yards to make sure I was on paper. I then zeroed at 30 yards. That was done on a different target. I had previously calculated with Chair Gun that 36 yards was my one point zero. I then put the target at 23 yards and exercised the internal ballistics calculator by shooting at the same hold point while changing the range setting in the optic. That shows on the left half of the target. The big hole at the bottom is me shooting a couple of shots at range settings of 27 , 37, and 47 yds. the middle two shots were set at 67 yards. The top hole on the left was me checking the zero by moving the target back in to 10 yards and ranging it with the ATN laser then holding on the x (which is gone).
Finally I moved the target out to 36 yards and shot the ten shot group under the quarter. There was quite a bit of wind today so the group does not impress but it is for sure where it is supposed to be. Although I do think from the shots with range set at 67 yards that my BC may set a bit low.
In the end I ranged several paddles with the laser. The laser is blutooth connected to the optic and sets the range in the optic. It was boringly easy to hit them every time by just holding the cross hairs on the spot. Killing machine. Yep. I have a peach orchard I will be protecting this spring for a friend.
That was 2016 (IIRC). It was set up to shoot 55 FPE when I got it (with a 12" barrel).
