My compressor .....what brand?

Hi , this is the compressor I use for 5 years now without any problem , works perfectly and is worthwhile when you shoot 5-6 different airguns regularly . It's water cooled , has a water pump , radiator and fan ; driven by a separate motor , belt and pulleys. Maw pressure is 350 bars.
I just wonder what brand it is ? It's chineese made and sold by Luchtbuks , in Netherlands , under the name "CARETTE" .

If somebody knows it......thanks

Yup, that is a Carette or Alpha Carette as they are known in the US. As far as I know the exclusive dealer in the states is Joe Brancato (airtanksforsale.com). Getting replacement parts from the dealer can be tricky, but if you do some digging you will find that some of the parts interchange with other chinese compressors. There is also a member here on AGN that can get parts directly from the factory, his user name is "bosun". As I look at his profile he hasn't logged into AGN since October 18 of this year so it might be tough to get parts from him?

It's a pretty nice compressor (for the money) and relatively reliable in my experience, but it is slow. I have been maintaining / repairing one for a friend and have been relatively impressed with it (once again for the price). Have had to do 3 relatively minor repairs in the last 2 years and the compressor is now 5 years old.

I would love to get my hands on a new 'Carette II' air cooled 3 stage compressor, as I feel like this could be a great alternative between the $1500 (enthusiast) and $3000+ (commercial) compressors. But if there is only going to be a single dealer in the US (Joe B) I see that as a huge drawback and probably a deal-breaker for me. There needs to be more than one source for parts and support in the states!

Airtanksforsale has an exclusive U.S. dealership agreement with the Carette manufacturer.

Bosun Hu is a factory representative for Carette in China. He doesn't post much on this forum but he is easily reachable by email and is responsive. Bear in mind when emailing him that China is 12 hours different time zones away from the U.S. so expect at least a day in between replies from Bosun. He speaks English fluently and cares about Carette customers.

Very sorry to hear that. The company I retired from after 30 yrs also had exclusive rights to distribute their Industrial servo valves in the US. We went out of our way to help clients whether they bought the valves from us or not. You only get one chance to make a 1st impression. I'm sure there are many happy Joe B customers but I don't know why he would not offer to help you get up and running and be a future ally and reference. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. Hope you can find help somewhere.
