OK, through the Bulldog, today I shot 1 161.3gr RN .713 long at 826fps for 244fpe, 4 185gr spitzer .915 long at 711fps for 208fpe and a 5/8" group at 50 yards, that is excellent because I am a bit wobbly, 5 231.5gr spitzer HP's 1.075 long at 652fps for 219fpe and a 1.5" group. I have the mold for the first bullet so I will get a group later. Regards, Tom"tkerrigan"About 6 months ago, I shot a string with 104.25 DWC, they look like trashcans. The string was as follows in my Bulldog.
3100psi fill 782, 809, 827, 831, 831, 818, 808, 797, 779, 761 2050psi ending. Highest was 160ft lbs
Tonight the following after drilling the ports out to .277" and the hammer spring tightened
3200psi fill 886, 922, 954, 957, 944, 928, 908, 881, 886 1900psi ending Highest was 212 ft lbs. I'll search up some heavier ammo tomorrow and see what the ft lbs goes to. Regards, Tom
So you resurrected a 7 month old thread to tell us you don't know how to tune an airgun? The gun is capable, properly adjusted. If you don't know how, send it to Brian Thurman at Veradium Air. It will come back ready to hunt.
mines accurrate with 81 grain but i found if you go up to say 150 grain needed for hunting deer not accurrate at all call benjamin man told me you had to tune it for bigger grain bullets why didn,t they tune before they put them on the market to sell telling everyone they are good for deer hunting take my word for it don,t buy one if you planing on using it for deer
