My Bulldog and the NSA 110gr results

I come from a .22 AT44 and a .25 Bullboss PCP background and a 31 fpe for 48 shots hpa converted Benjamin 392.

Going into the Bulldog I researched and knew that groups that are larger at 50-100 yards was acceptable for Big Bore.

Air Venturi slugs and H&N Grizzlies all made about 2" with fliers at 50 yards.I was almost happy with that.I got the JSB groups down to about 1" ctc by learning the guns holds and pressures.I can pull three 5 shot groups all about 1" at 50 yards on one 2500 psi fill.At 3000 psi the first 3 shots open up the group.plinking teathered is a treat.

Ordered 100 of the NSA and to my amazement 5 shots at 55 yards on a bipod only laying in the dirt.

One large hole all shots touching.I think I found my Ammo of choice.Still new to the gun, loving it so far.Shot about 400 rounds,Tried the Rick Morril 97 grains.

I came to the conclusion so far that the Air Venturi 127 grain round nose,125 gr flat and the Rick's are good for inside 30 yards for medium game since with those my accuracy is not so perfect. There are also tons more ammo I need to try.

I'd like to stay with the faster shooting lighter grains.

Day one it chronographed 933 with the jsb and 815 with the 127 so I suspect 820ish with the 110 but will check another time.

Just thought I'd share my experiance with the NSA 110's.Top Notch Ammo.

I'd like to say I'm no crosman/benjamin fan.I believe Crosman outdone themselves on the Bulldog design. Its an excellent platform.Id like to see a Bulldog MK2 with a better pistol grip,.257 and .30 caliber slug barrel options would hurt either.

Polymags have been best in my bulldog testing out to 100yd. 1.5in group at 100yd if you sort the pellets. Sometimes it can be better than that. The Noslers, NSA 110gr and Aeromagnum devastators gave me best results out to 100yd for slugs. I was seeing at best an average of 2-2.25in at 100yd, and worst was about 3.25in at 100yd. Now granted the shots that opened up were probably all my fault. This gun is a definite performer. Get a nice trigger set or polish it up yourself and it works wonders.

I have a bulldog with a depinger, sportsman trigger, cocking handle and barrel supports from Pitbull. It also has a Donny FL Emperor. Hammer spring at +4 turns. No other mods.

It runs pretty well:

That 4th shot was either me or the wind (you can see the trees blowing in the background).

I'm curious as to where everyone puts their barrel supports? I'd assume that it would dramatically change the harmonics depending on distance from each other, fore/aft placement, etc.

OP, try the NSA 110's in .356, I've had excellent results.
