Just shot my best bigbore 10 shot group today. Cool thing about it is on film! Scope cam too!
What rifle and what ammo, David?
Ataman .357 with JSB 81.02 grain. I got other ammo tested on scope cam and put it on youtube. @ N. Davidsng

Bob, I did not think Air Arms was really geared for such long range. Any mods? Sorting? HUMA reg?

Air Arms S510 XS Ultimate Sporter 22. Air Arms 18gr pellet at 900fps. Wind was around 7 mph about 20 degrees off my 12 o'clock. 10 shots just under 1 3/8".
You dial down from MaxPwr Bob? Would have loved to have had The Lab on your bench when that was shot Bob. Btw Check your InBox.

No mods or sorting. The regulator is factory, confirmed they do not use Huma regulators.
This gun is very powerful.....I had to dial back to Lvl4 on the JSB 15.89 and 18.1 pellets so they wouldn't destabilize.
I have some 21gr H&N BM pellets on the way.... hopefully they will shoot around 1" at 100.

Yes, this is the first rifle I've owned that seems to be factory tuned to shoot HEAVY pellets. Shooting standard weight pellets or light heavies requires turning the power down one step.

Bob, the Hunter Extreme pellets will tame it a bit too. They are slightly heavier and fly much better than you might expect.

Those did terribly out of my FX Wildcat 25 w/ ST-X pellet liner.....like 8" at 100 yds.
I could give them a try in 22 caliber if you think it might be worth it.

I sold my S510Xtra XTRA. I can tell you that it held tighter groups with the extreme hunters than the JSB 18s. I never tested the BH. If the gun likes them I’d go for the higher BC and stay with the BH. Just don’t forget the extreme hunters do well from the 510. If I had some leftovers I would ship them to you for a test but I shot them up before selling my S510Xtra. I do have some Sniper Magnums and some Monsters I’d send if you want to test

Well, the Barracuda Match 5.52mm pellets did terribly today. But the JSB 18.1gr pellets did terrific....on High power at that!
