My attempt at making a laminate stock

I’m jealous of all you guys that have woodworking skills. I’m afraid if I attempted to make my own stock it’d wind up looking something like this guys. 😆

I basically used the same shape from streamline stock that was already on the airgun, and I mostly just did things by eye because I was ok with the stock not being perfect or even perfectly symmetrical. 

Do you have any resources focusing on the lamination part of the project that helped you out?
 
Gorgeous work! I wish the Osage Orange would Keep that yellow, the first time  saw it I thought that it had been dyed.

Thanks. I am also am wondering how the Osage will look a few years from now. I used boat varnish (Epifanes) that is made for keeping out the UV rays, and I am hoping between that, and the stock spending most of its life in a gun case, that it will keep that bright yellow for a while. I am not really sure what to expect from a few coats of varnish though.
