I’m envious even though I have my own S510 FAC with lovely wood. I have several other nice air guns but I enjoy shooting my Air Arms rifle the most. They’re just so right.

A classic beauty that just does'nt get enough respect in the U.S. market (used old airguns that is) these days.
Your's is a "classic" and long tube made in .'06 so "12fpe" and the correct aa sliencer? We've got an' 03 s410 "exra fac" with the 2 lever trigger (no safety) & 16mm shroud -believe they used the oval port then?- in .177 that grouped very well as delivered shooting 25.7fpe and FT worthy after de-tuning to a US FT legal 19.5fpe.
And that AA fit & finish, so very nice. Personally I'd be willing to keep that one forever.

These guns are the best value on the market currently. One of the most underrated guns, that is for sure. I have the .22 S400 Xtra FAC with beech stock. Looks like you have the walnut variety. Can you remove the end cap without hitting the thingy? Seems to be an extremely close fit.

When I was first looking at PCPs it was the choice between the AA S510 or the Weihrauch HW100. Ended up with the HW100 because it had a regulator and I prefered its simpler (lower) magazine.
Now that they come with regulators, my next rifle will likely be a walnut stocked .22 caliber S510 FAC.
