Maybe it's above somewhere, but what ammo are you shooting and what BC are you using?I played around in the Kestrel tweaking the velocity and BC in a new profile to try to get the dope to match with real world values. I can get kind of close, but it's off at either the 100 yard range or the 200 yard range. And the whole point of using DSF is to match the Kestrel values to the real world dope.
Corbin ACE 40.1 gr at 961 fps, G7 BC is .091Maybe it's above somewhere, but what ammo are you shooting and what BC are you using?
I hadn't thought of that, I've been cleaning the barrel every 150 shots and/or before every match. Maybe I'll leave it dirty for tomorrow's match and see how it does.Looks like it's more consistent. Maybe it likes dirty.
Snipers Hide is a little bit much for me. You know what they say about opinions and a--holes, and The Hide has plenty of both. I prefer to show people the benefits of air guns face to face. It's very special to watch someone with a Vudoo or Rim-X suffer their 3rd jam of the match and quietly point out that your air rifle has never jammed. Or to listen to guys figuring out their wind call and say "Yeah, I'll need to take 30% off of that".Yeah, I used to put up with that BB gun poop all the time. I had an HM1000x built my Martin for me in .177 cal just to satisfy my curiosity whether it could compete at 100 yards with all the fancy 30 cal rifles. It did. You should go on Snipers Hide and post this on the Rimfire section. I've been poking at these rimfire guys about airguns beating rimfires. It started out against me , but some are now beginning to pay attention.
