My addiction of airguns has past 27 in 2 years. How about you?

That should free you to help me shoot some of these toys:

I will never forget the Day I walked into AOA i was just looking not thinking of buying but got a springer because I did not want to spend a lot on something I would not use very much!!! So kip of AoA said that sold me the springer. Have you shot one before I said no but I have shot guns before why?? He said well it's different you have to hold it military style?? Ok I said and left.

4 days later I come back to AoA and said the gun is broke!! It's not shooting right hahaha kip said are you holding it right? I said yes I can't hit anything with it try it out I said it's broke!! So he walked back to shoot it and come back to me and said it's fine I said no way he showed me his group and it was like wow dude how did you do that he laughed and said it's how you hold it like I told you??

so I said ok I can't do this hold thing what do you have that's like a real gun and I don't need to military hold it. He said well it's all in your hold but a Pcp is easier to shoot but it's more expensive with tanks and pumps or compressors etc. i said ok what's the cheapest mid grad you have so after looking at all the pcp guns I got a brocock Compato 22cal. That's when my addiction started right then hahaha

ever sense that day I have spent a small fortune on my addiction for airguns it's a drug I tell you it's like the only thing that makes sense anymore hahaha just kidding but it runs my life just saying and I love it. So this how many pcp airguns I own its 22 yes 22 but that's not counting the doubles like I 4 impacts 2 crowns. 2 LCS sk19 4 edgun leshiys if you add them up it's 27 so yes am addicted and am proud hahaha how about you have you had this many in 2 years??? Can't wait to see all yours. Thanks

Well it's like this,

It's called "airgunitis" and only one more is a temporary fix. I know very well because I've been "simplyhooked" on air guns for 37 plus years. Yes, I do have a nice collection of PBs and some that I've never shot brfore but airguns have changed my concept of reality when it comes to trigger time. A I R G U N I T I S is what it's called and only one more is a temporary fix if you want to be fixed. 37 beautiful years and I can never have too many.

My true addiction is the FX Impact. 3 guns 7 barrels in 3 calibers. 10 liners. 5 suppressor systems. All the O-rings, air supplies, 5 scopes, 6 field gun support systems and 4 custom bench bags. 5 custom target systems just for the fun of it. And that's just the good stuff, A 4 gun historical collection.

For my own sanity I have been working on a piece to address this issue.

Dear Air Gun Universe,

We've been told our whole lives to case our guns, condition our air supply, use a dust cap. Not to mention cover your optics in order to maintain a healthy air gun environment. Collecting may have adverse effects.

According to Dr. Lux, a world-renowned air gunner - many so called "PCP Airguns" in the American Airgun market can lead to dangerous addictive behavior, that could be expanding your collection.

"This toxic behavior may cause micro-tears to form in fragile collector eyes - allowing bacteria and waste products to seep into your body." Says Dr. Lux.

This harmful condition is best known as "Airgun Collector" and it's affecting millions of people nationwide. Warning signs include weight gain, credit problems, marital obstacles, fatigue, digestive discomfort, stiff, achy joints, and even eye and skin problems.

Dr. Lux explains, "These side effects are often mistaken for normal signs of aging, because an airgun collection usually develops over a matter of years, and sometimes even decades. But I can assure you, the damage caused by these so called "healthy collections" is far from normal."

The good news is this problem can be easily fixed from your own home.

"It's very simple, you just have to know which Airguns are actually healthy, and which have only personal value, no after market value," he goes on to explain.

By simply eliminating these harmful airguns, Dr. Lux has seen thousands of his own patients make recoveries. (In fact, he even lost 13 airguns himself!)

Now, after years of research, Dr. Lux has decided to release an informative video to the public - free and uninterrupted - showcasing exactly which airguns you need to avoid. And which airguns in your collection need to be donated to an up in coming Airgun collector.

"Good health is one of life's toughest obstacles," he explains. "So, if this video can help people achieve that, I'll be thrilled to hear I was of help."

The video may go viral, first being shared by users on Facebook, then may be featured on news sites like ABC and CBS.

So far, the comments and feedback have been outstanding, with thousands of collectors feeling better than they have in decades.

A parody? A paradox? Or is it???

Yours, Luxurycat

I've had quite a few, but prefer now to just have my RAW TM1000 with two actions. One for 12fpe and one for 20fpe. I use these for Field Target. Then I have a Huben .22 which I use for.... FUN!

But that's it. Having guns around that I don't shoot feels burdensome to me. I'm not saying that others should feel this way. That's just how it stacks up for me.

Chas

PWA,

Many thanks for your nice post. But just to clarify, and for the sake of full disclosure, I have 'only' a couple dozen airguns. However, I have had possibly the most amount of air guns of anyone on this forum. And without doubt, I have inarguably had more airgun fun, airgun adventures, airgun misadventures, airgun epic hunts, airgun epic performances, and airgun writings than anyone not only on this forum, but Planet Earth!

No brag; just fact.

Happy Airgunning Y'all,

Ron R
