My 1st PCP my Taipan Veteran Long .25 is HERE!

Wow after a couple of years of researching, agonizing, mind changing and justifying the pros and cons of many PCPs. Then talking myself in and out of actually getting a PCP. I Did It! I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a Taipan Veteran Long .25 caliber from Tony at Talon Tunes a couple of weeks ago. I haven’t been this excited about an air rifle since getting my Daisy Red Ryder BB gun back in 1973. I was in the window all day long and missed it being delivered when I was in the bathroom 🤦🏾‍♂️

Now I’m bummed as it’s been snowing for the past two days. Oh well I’ll work something out.

RM100GUY I wanted an accurate, reliable gun that you didn’t need to fiddle with too much. I wanted something short enough that I could do pesting from inside my home or from my shed. Also I wanted to do target shooting as well. Ended up talking to Tony at Talon Tunes and he suggested the Taipan.

CP598. Whew good luck. I seriously overthought this for too long. I finally said there is no “perfect” one gun, so get the best one for most of my needs.

yenniedn That is one of the major factors that stopped me. However, I wasn’t planning on doing Speed Silo so I decided to give it a shot.

Lastly I needed EVERYTHING as this is my first PCP. I couldn’t justify over $2,000 for the gun alone. Maybe the next one. 😂

Airgunmike56 Yes that was part of my problem. I kept going back and forth on do I start with an entry level gun or just jump in the deep in. Glad I jumped.

Bigragu funny I was leaving out and opened my garage door and it was just sitting there. They didn’t even try to bring it to the front door. The compressor is from Talon Tunes. Not sure who makes it.

elh0102 So glad to hear. Taipans don’t get as much discussion time on AGN or YouTube but what you do find is positive.
