Your Daystate in .177 is still standing the test of times and they're known for making or building some of the worlds finest air rifles. Shot placement is still crucial when harvesting small game, especially gray squirrels.

Many people frown on using .177s on small game animals but I've taken many gray squirrels with .177s, my FX SuperSwift and I've lost a few. I've learned that knowing your prey and what it takes to properly anchor them, leaves them DRT, brain shots work when nothing else does.
