I'm thinking about adding a muzzle break to my hw95. I understand this will have limited to no benefit performance-wise. I think they look nice and give you a spot to grab when cocking. Does anyone have any after market recommendations? Do any of the other brands fit this rifle? I know weihrauch makes one, but it looks pricey. I see some on pyramidair but not sure if they will fit my gun. Thank you

I don’t think any brake the diameter of your 95 barrel will fit without filing down the raised spot on the barrel under the sight. I never wanted to do it. The type that has an inner bushing will work without filing but I have had bad experiences of them scratching the barrel. Kind of defeated the point.

I would get the Weihrauch. You don't have to fill down the front end with it and it is light compared to some others that I have.

If the Weihrauch has the bushing and it must then be sure to remove any burrs and over round the sharp edges on the inside of the bushing. You can’t see it anyway and can’t be to careful here. The brake fits tightly over the bushing and it moves around until the desired location is achieved. Any sharp edge will mar the barrel.

It appears the Weihrauch brake is the one I have installed many times. No issues after buffing the interior of the sleeve with my Dremel. To a shine!
