Multi-shot PCP w/pump vs. Multi-shot Break Barrel

i own the aspen/freedom because i really dislike the idea of extra equipment needed besides the gun and ammunition for shooting.

there looks to be a lot of multi-shot break barrels starting to hit the market now too, which also interests me and is probably going to be my next purchase.

does anyone have any opinions on which they would prefer? for maintenance? ease of use hunting?

anyone who has a bead on the industry know of any plans for any of the big manufacturers to start producing a PCP w/ a self contained pump, or any chanceof FX updating the indy/independence?

I don't believe there is one springer let alone multi shot spring that is as accurate as a PCP being shot by the same person. IMHO anyone will be more accurate shooting a PCP. I have shot springers for the last 30 years at least and I'm fairly accurate with my springer but I'm way more accurate with my Aspen/Liberty PCP.

Seems this might depend on each particular gun of each type as much (or very nearly) as on the type of gun. But the concept that PCP's are easier to shoot in general seems accurate.

i can't imagine carrying that paradigm around... i think i would pick one up if i found one of the prototypes though, fun looking gun.

the proxima looked a bit large from the aeac review. but i do like the thumbhole stock.

the aspen is very easy to shoot. i do like the idea of basically one pump per shot. but i also enjoy the 12 or so shots in the row. this is going to get expensive.
