Multi-cal Boss project.

Got a chance to try the A liner in the STX using the Boss all 100m groups.

Not sure what happened here but I'm sure was me. (its actually horizontal stringing)

Then this group, but I'm not sure if its 4 or 5 shots so no calipers but WOW.

Also got my MP mold for .22 35gr slugs and some good preliminary testing. Just under an inch at 50m with the first casting. Heres the second cast.

That'll be a sweet deal if the slugs work out. Basically free ammo once the mold is paid off which won't take long. I have 70lbs of spent pellet ingots I'd like to use one of these days. Just waiting for the right project to come along. That is a great looking cast btw, well done Nate.

Great groups with A liner... what was the velocity? And those are really beautiful slugs... hope they shoot as good as they look!

Around 920 or so, and so far so good with the slugs im not expecting nsa or pellet accuracy. I shot some at 50m at 800 with the royale. I can shoot them hotter just wanted to make sure theyre stable. They shoot nice and straight got a few under an inch at 50m but they look better after the second casting so im thinking itll improve a bit with more speed from the boss and nicer product.

And if anyone is wondering why bother? One very good reason is at 100m these still have roughly 44fpe when shot around 880. Im ok with putting in a bit of work and effort to see if i can get these shooting even 2 MOA at 100m. Id be happy.
