Apologies if this has already been covered but I have some really nasty POI drift based on temperature. I have an MTC Viper Pro on my Brocock Commander. It's always windage that's the problem never elevation. If it's 50F or below outside POI is to the left. If it's 80F or above POI is to the right. The more the swing in temperature from, say 70F, the greater the issue. Yesterday I had to compensate 3" at 55 yrds and it was about 90F outside.
Is this to be expected with generally all scopes or is this a problem specifically with the MTC Viper Pro? Some days it drives me up the wall because if I have an opportunity shot on a tree rat who knows where POI will be unless I do the prior temperature sighting game for windage.
Thanks in advance!
