MTC Viper Pro problems

I just bought 2 MTC Viper Pros and both have a problem. One the Parallax knob has no stop and it wont change the focus. The other one the parallax knob is VERY hard to turn .
​ Has anyone else had any problems with these scopes I thought that they were the best. At This point I think that I will send them back and get Hawkes.

I'd definitely send them back. I sold a Viper Pro a few months ago because I thought the lens was a bit cloudy compared to the Athlon Argos I had at the time. At least the scope paralax adjustment and turrets were functional, though. Seriously, the scope that won't focus sounds broken and definitely should be returned.

I've found Sightron & Athlon to have great quality control. I've bought 2 of each of their scopes, and they both operated the same - all of the dials felt similar. With Hawke scopes I've found quite a bit of variability and poor quality control. I think they used to be very reliable, and are now living off a once great name brand. I won't buy another one because of problems that I've had with their scopes. If you can get a good one, they are fantastic. The problem that I've experienced is getting one without defects.

I havent had any problems. .yet.ted loves them.Athlon is good Swfa are real nice. Good luck. I have a low end hawke vantage no home for it yet ..ive heard tons of complaints on hawke. Good luck. Pat
