Is your Tactacam the FTS model? If so, any trouble mounting it to the Atom?

Yes FTS. I don't think you can mount it to the Atom. I never tried. I just held the Tactacam by itself not using the FTS device, up against the eyepiece to get a picture of ret. I had to look on my phone to see what the tactacam was recording. Even if you could get the FTS thingy hooked up to it, I do not think it will work.

Yo nutcracker, will the rubber eyepiece work if you were wearing eyeglasses? It looks awesome on your gun.

Don't know. I could not get it to work w/o glasses. I have tried those scope eyepiece rubbers for years and can never get them to work for me. I sometimes put a piece of cardboard on the side of my hunting hat bill, to block unwanted light. Really helps me see better.

Thanks partner!!

Have found with the Atom, I seem to need my butt plate very low. This extension is how much I found I need. This may also be due to the high position of this stock. looks crazy , but feels great . Also I have settled on these two points of sling attachment after trying various locations, and here is perfect for me. The carbine carries nicely under my right arm, with the sling over my left shoulder. Moves easy to shoulder and sling does not bind, like other locations.

Expensive !

I think it is optically excellent, because of the size and weight ideal for bullpup and compact guns, but will also suit all others who needs a scope with a very wide field of view.

I tried it a couple of times on a range to shoot targets just to get used to, suits me well, still to decide if to leave it on Daystate Pulsar or switch to Edgun Matador.

And another useful thing from this scope - it leaves me lots of mounting rail in front to clamp NV front attachment to the mounting rail directly, I prefer to use front attachments rather than dedicated night sights, but don't like to clump them to an objective of a day scope. MTC Atom gives me 10x NV magnification.

when it comes to front attachments (tubed - digital - thermal), it is a field of view of the attachment comes on top. What happens here is that the day scope works as a magnifier for FA display, and wide field of view of the atom comes very handy but in different way. For example if you stick FA in front of a conventional x10 scope, you will see only central part of the display, with the atom you see more or less uncut image from the FA , which gives 10x NV capability, which is very generous. To have the same uncut view of the display with the conventional scope, you will need to zoom down to about x3 mag.

Will try to take some pictures later on in a week through the scope with NV intensified image.

please do share, the official stats state a 28m fov at 100m, which is simply insane to me.
Can you varify?
