I would look into what exactly the warranty covers since its so expensive if it's a NO BS LIFETIME WARRANTY no receipt required and transferable to a second or third owner like LEUPOLD AND BUSHNELL just because of the price so you can know if a used one is worth buying once you decide it's not for you. That also affects resale value and added piece of mind to second and third hand owners and of course ease of reselling it.

The warranty isn't very good compared to many other companies.

This warranty is extended to lifetime to the initial purchaser conditional on registration via the website or other written communication within 30 days of purchase.
If any MTC Optics product is found to have defects in materials or workmanship, we will repair or replace the product with an equivalent. Original sales receipt (proof of purchase) is required.
The warranty does not include components that are either perishable or subject to wear and tear.
- Batteries
- Flip open covers
- Turret caps
- Side focus wheel bearings (damaged caused by excessive use)
Storage of the rifle scope at extreme temperatures (hot or cold) will greatly reduce the life of the internal seals. When not in use, it is recommended to store the rifle scope in a temperate environment.
A warranty will be void if any of the following has occurred:
- Modification
- Accidental damage by user
- Usage for which the item is not designed
- Immersion in liquid
- 2nd or subsequent user
Damage caused by the use of an additional large side focus wheel under heavy recoiling rifles or damage caused by improperly mounting a large side focus wheel is not covered under warranty.
Due to ITAR regulations, warranty fulfillment must be via the national distributor or retailer from which the merchandise was purchased. For this reason we do not recommend customers import from non USA retailers.
