Hi Guys, in paper this scope looks pretty nice, but I have read several reviews saying that in high mag it get "cloudy" what are your experiences with it?
I've looked through one a friend had and had the same experience. After about 24x I could already see the image quality degrading and at 30x it looked quite cloudy.
I have found on most zoom scope that I have on maximum magnification and magnification close to that it gets a little fuzzy but it’s still usable I have Sightron scope SFP Slll 10x50x60 where its perfect for the full range. From my experience I think if you want Tac sharp for full range you need the more expensive scope, if you look at what the competition top shooters are using you see most of them with $2000+ scopes or close to that. I wish there was a idiot proof way to quickly move a scope from one rifle to another with out the need to do a sighting in every time if that could be done I would sell all my scopes and buy a $3000 one. I wouldn’t be surprised if the military has a way of doing this as equipment is always being broken and this option is probably in use. But I was in the Navy and we didn’t have much to do with shooting in my job.
Jaja the sightron ! I bookmark it a few days ago on optics planet (the price is pretty good) https://www.opticsplanet.com/sightron-siii-ss-10-50x60mm-side-focus-riflescope.html , along with the Vortex https://www.airgunsofarizona.com/scopes/vortex-golden-eagle-hd-15-60x52-ecr-1-moa-reticle/
Thanks for the advice!
