Mrodair compressors

I bought a Mrodair compressor , it was the biggest piece of junk I ever bought , first week the switch and cord melted then the female connector melted , it went threw 10 switches , worse then this is It had leaks , you could not fill a regular tank in under 3 hours and the cooling system was a joke then i told him when it kept melting rings on the piston and he is only one who has rings , the ones on ebay or internet or alibaba just a bit different , I had it for 13 months total how I lasted that long I have no clue , between replacing gaskets , the electrical issues , pump failure , piston failure , crankcase gst failure , the electrical motor failure , check valve failure , the valve system where the silca went 2 warped and leaked , the only part on unit that never failed was the gage . the first extension cord was like 18 gage pc power supply cord , I mean it must of been rated for 200 watts , the switche were 15a , they used to melt , in end when I converted it to a 30a sw , I ran out of places to buy piston rings and i was sick of spending 1 more cent or 1 more minute of my time.

well mine went threw 13 sets of rings

I used to fill a 5 gallon pail with water use a pump and circulate it and I would run fans on it and used cold packs but once temp got to like 53c rings would melt worst piece of junk I should of shot it ,, i gave it to a friend who got rings and he ended out throwing it out and buying a ebay unit and mounted it in the frame .

I the thing is useless , I had so many people have bad stuff and he doesn't stand behind things or answer emails ,

I later bought a compressor from Air tex it is now 2 yrs old and it fills a big tank in 12 minutes tops and it has breathable air and a triple filtration system for clean dry air . Buy 1 time and get a good unit , trust me , I am so glad it is out of my life
