Hello,
I realize that in a powder burner they advise to tighten the rings pushed up against the slot towards the muzlle to account for the rear wards action of the rifle. In pcp rifles I guess it doesn't really matter. But what about gas ram or spring air rifles where the rifle goes rearward at first but then once the poston hits the rifle moves forward thus pushing the scope back towards the shooter? I have thought on such rifles to mount one ring pushed forward and the other towards me? What says you?
