Mounting an IR Monocular to a Scope? Open to suggestions.

OK, So I have an IR Monocular, a laser, and a scope. 

Im wondering if anybody has gone through the process of fenagling a monocular onto a scope because I cant afford a conversion kit atm.

My best options right now are to: 

A. Tape the monocular to the end of the scope (looking through the monocular, which is looking through the scope)

Or

B. Tape the monocular onto the side or top of the scope and use a laser to mark where my target is. I have no mountable laser to I have to hold it in my hand.(Look through both the monocular and scope, see laser through scope after spotting with monocular)

Now I know this sounds like a joke but im serious.

Im trying to see what im aiming at and spot it at the same time, and switching between the monocular and scope is just no bueno for me.

I feel like option B is my best bet as its the easiest to do.

I mounted a sightmark ghost (something or other) to my scope and had an ir laser also attached to the scope rail. It worked ok. The problem is the clarity on these types of night vision units is not the best. And if using a laser. It is only accurate at the one aiming point you zero it at. 
You can find economy grade night vision scope setups on eBay and Amazon from $150.00 to $200.00. That’s the route I ended up going and am 100% pleased with what I’ve got. 
New set up new gun.
