mounting a bipod to an FX dreamline classic

You either have to mount a picatinny rail yourself, or you can buy a mounting system that goes onto the air tank. Utah airguns sells their brands saber tactical bottle/tube clamp that will allow you to mount a bipod. Here the link for the saber tactical clamp https://utahairguns.com/saber-tactical-bottle-clamp-rail-adapter/ . Alternatively some people make a similar 3d printed product, you could probably find one on ebay.

Aparks454, take a look at my setup. I researched small bipod mounts and could not find the right curve to match my stock, until I saw the "FX Wildcat Accessory Picatinny Short Rail" and it is exactly what I was looking for.

I mounted it using a dot of Blue Loctite on each screw. Works like a champ.

Thanks everyone for all the great info and tips! This is the exact set up I am going for joekool. Did you use self-tapping hex screws to secure the rail or did you drill completely through and counter sink to use hex screws nuts and washers? I am mounting this to a walnut stock.

Self tapping screws similar to these, did not drill all the way through. Only the depths of the screws or sling stud.

I have a Hatsan FlashPup that comes with this small picatinney rail. If you can find a picture of this gun that shows the bottom of the forend you would agree that the threaded brass insert has a much better appearance than a couple wood screw holes would. Plus it would eliminate any wear to the stock caused by repeated attachment and removal of the rail.

How do you find that bipod? I like the concept and am looking for one at the moment.
