Hi guys. Just wanna ask on the is tge most widely used barrel in 22 cal that perforns best at benchrest matches?

I've read that BOTH the conventional and polygonal Walther Loren barrels seem to perform quite well. Both my RAWS and my Redwolf have polygonal and shoot great. My Regal has conventional and shoots great also.

I myself am curious what FPS the LW polly barrels like min and max. In .17-.22 - .25 vs traditional rifling in air guns. This information would be helpful in custom builds. It could save money and headaches. Anyone with solid data please chime in. Thanks MM

I do have both poly and reg rifleing in both my raw bm500 barrels and they do like different pellets,

My TM1000 in .177 has a poly barrel and is a laser with weighed and sorted JSB original design Monsters, so there seems to be no hard and fast rule....

My TM1000 polygon loves the orig. Monsters as well. Accuracy improved big time when I bumped it from 18fpe to just under 20. Uj

I am running at just a tick under 20 fpe as well.
I tried to set it so that any temperature variations won't put me over 20, like a super hot summer day.
