Looking for guidance on a safe and reliable basic tank for filling airguns to 200 bar. Dang these seem expensive. My compressor is a Vevor rated for 200 bar -- my airguns too. Don't need much more capacity than to do one or two fills to get me through an FT match of 60 shots.

your local fire station has the cheapest tanks.
thats where i get mine.
walk in and ask if they have any tanks they want to get rid of,
ive got them all for $50 or less,sometimes free.
plus they will fill the tanks also.
just tales a little legwork to find ones that have some/or want to part with some.
dont expect a tank at the first place you try,
but getting a couple tanks for next to nothing is completely worth the effort

200 bar is easy. Most SCUBA and welding gas tanks are rated to that, so cheap ones are ubiquitous. No need for the high-dollar fiber-wound SCBAs if only going to 200 bar.

My test the other day showed that I can single arm hand pump my guns up to 200 bar

Firestation auction sale, if my memory serves me well I paid about $120 for a four full setup (with masks, lines, metal tank holders, all those I just throw away).

If filling your own then expired fire tanks are the way to go. If getting them prof filled the cheapest DOT approved tanks I’ve seen are the acecare tanks.
