More testing on the Diana

I got the new suppressor( WEIHRAUCH) from AOA , but when it got over a 100f had flier all over the place. I took the innards out, shot better but not consistent. I found a Diana airgun site, couple of the guys said it sounds like a lube problem. I've had a few people tell me to get KRYTOX lube. I ordered a tube at $20 .5 oz. I did a bunch of more testing this morning. With the suppressor on, suppressor off and with everything out and the end cap off. Got a bunch of pictures, . I shot around 10 pellets at each. 111f out there this afternoon, not sure if i'm going to do any more testing. Also shot some H&N 17.9 gr. not very good.

each.

Dave it looks like it’s grouping fairly well with both brands of pellets except for the stringing in the second photo. It also appears that it’s shooting the H&N the best, especially the second last photo. Your rifle may not be a tack driver but I’d go with the H&Ns and the moderator with no internals. Maybe the new lube will fix your poi shift or not. Many years ago I had a rifle that would behave similar to yours and I just got used to applying a different hold over or under depending on the weather. Worked ok for me.

Good luck
