More Squirrels

I have taken 28 so far in this spot most of them within 50 yds of the house. Earlier in the year I could have gotten a limit in the front yard.

Leave some for seed for next year, LOL. You must have some Hickories on your mountain. I have been driving about 75 miles south for the last few years to hunt squirrel on national forest, like the big woods/giant trees and scenery. I never/rarely squirrel hunt around my home, at least not in the last 10 years or so. But today I was making something in my shed, & took a lil walk into the woods behind my shop. I seen three gray squirrels take off. First squirrel I seen around here in awhile. I might go after them in first of year.

Thanks. This property is full of large oaks and pines. You wouldn't believe the number of squirrels especially when the leaves are still on. I have killed several out of one tree and the rest just keep feeding. The wonders of suppressed pcp air rifles

I deal with grey squirrels a lot. They love to work there way into homes this time of year.

Yes they do, have a couple in the attic now. The property these came from is covered with them and most of these came from right around the house. More than one landed on the roof when shot. They are in the sheds and house so I am trying to thin them out. Last trip I got 3 off the front porxh and there were still half dozen out there.
