More edgun love....

Ok guys, I am no doubt one of the greatest Kalibrgun Cricket lovers on this forum. Have owned 5-6 different ones. Never had a bad one. 50-60,000 pellets through them . Never a problem. (An oring here and there. Nothing serious.)

Currently i have a .22 cricket and thought this will surely be all i need. (Though my WANTS are definitely greater than my needs.

So was browsing through the yellow classifieds about a week ago, and came across an edgun matador for 750$ SHIPPED. 

I couldnt believe my eyes. And it came with an offset moderator! wow!

Before i had time to properly reflect my decision the money was on its way... 

3 days later the mailman man knocked and there she was in all her beauty and splendor. (To me, anyways. 

I mean guys, 750$!!! Free shipping!! Absolute NO BRAINER!

The previous owner a fine gentleman by the name of Mark Miller assured me it does 1/2" at 50.yards easy! Truly an understatement...

It does 1/2" at 50 in 10 mph winds! I am not kidding.

In calm the pellets virtually stack on top of each other.

I am sooooo exited.... well pics? Here she is ladies and gentlemen...

Here are two 5 shot 51 yard groups in 10-15 mph

I love the edguns... and the crickets, and the taipans, well you get the idea. I have a wildcat but would like to add an edgun hopefully next year. Nice score on the gun and based of the groups it looks like you got a keeper. Congrats.

Congratulation bud! That’s a great price on an excellent gun. I remember back when that gun would have sold for $2000 used easy. 

What a shooter too. Those are excellent groups at that range. Enjoy that Eddy.

Accurate and built like a tractor! Nice score, I have a slight EDgun bias since I own 5 of them, but oddly enough my R3 and R3M just feel superb. I have no plans to ditch my R5M, but it isn't as graceful as those two. Enjoy it and feel confident you can service it with a minimum of tools.

I would be absolutely ecstatic at finding an EdGun for that price. What a score! 

51 yards is paintball on a golf T range. Try some eggs at 150 yards with the EdGun.

I only have 1 Cricket (my second PCP) and I'll never part with it in my lifetime (I hope).

That's exactly what I would have thought! Moe how did you determine that the seller was legit?

That is a great question, John. I was certainly leery as all get out at first. But the gentleman had his name and phone number listed, and invited a phone call for questions. 

So I called him up. Had a long conversation with him.

He was thoroughly familiar with the gun. And pcps in general. 

Here is what in my mind proved him to be legit. I bought the gun on Tuesday, but the gentleman told me he couldn't ship until friday. I told him i would pay him 25$ extra to ship right away so i could have the gun over the weekend. 

A scammer would have immediately agreed. He politely and firmly denied my request. It was impossible for him to ship the gun sooner than friday because he worked 12 hour shifts until thursday night. 

After he said that i immediately sent the money. PayPal no fees paid. Lol. I know its crazy, but thats what happened. 

And the second "clue" i had was the fact that i knew his name from watching him sell stuff on the yellow forum for many years. It was always edguns or edgun related. And here he was selling yet "anotherc edgun.

Shot some more groups with her today. This time out to 80 yards. It was about 5-10 mph and varying pretty good. I was still very pleased with the results. Shot from a very stable rest.
