That's what I would do. I went through a lot (but not near what you have) with my SK19. I finally got it straightened out.

I do not have a sk19, but when I sent a impact barrel to Ernest , I wrapped it in bubble wrap,& slid it into PVC tube , glued on cap & taped the crap out of the other end, no damage to & from &was pretty cheap to buy at farm & fleet, BTW , I have been watching this gun you have, I have an interest, but am seeing too many problems for now.. hope all works out for you..

Let me tell you guys something,I have had over 30 one piece fishing rods sent to me,they are one pc. rods between 6ft to 8ft long,they are sure as schiit more easy to break than a barrel and guess what they have All arrived with No damage.they have been sent through the usps,Not ups.
Most come in heavy cardboard tubes,butt some come in PVC plastic tubes....I think that is the ticket,bubble wrapped around item then put in a PVC tube....if it works for fishing rods it ought to work for barrels...I would demand it,in a respectful way.....also rifle scopes....I have had way better luck with the USPS than UPS...even Fedex seems to be better the the big brown truck,though Fedex just puts your item outside for all to see.
Best of all things to you a your plight of damaged goods.

I have a reading with a micrometer of .6317" O.D. on my LCS .25 cal. barrel. Measured just in front of the clamp area. I didn't pull the barrel for a breach measurement. Hope that helps.

so where is the oversize the problem barrel band or breech or both
it sound like it might be out of round

Thanks for the measurement 6317 is a huge difference! But it is on a .25 barrel and not a .22 so I don't know if that info is valid for me.

The whole barrel is either to large of a diameter by a few thousands of an inch or has such a slight bend I am unable to see it. Although it looks like a bend when I put it on my mini-lathe it seems to roll perfect on glass. So not sure what is going on yet just wish it wasn't. Guy at the gun shop can probly help me figure it out though. Otherwise I have to send the whole gun back. ;^( Not what I want to do.

bio I would think the dealer would know or they could find out from the manuf. the dia . Man they destroyed that tube did you roll that last barrel on glass to see that it was straight ? Best of luck something has to change ! darell P.S. this is how Edgun sent mine
You are lucky yours arrived in good order. Pacoson17 said that LW states the barrel is 16.002mm thanks for that.
