Had an early version FFP that was maybe a first run and it worked well for a spell then the lens coatings got opaque and turrets got wonky but it was like I said an EARLY model and I'm sure QC has gotten better. I would venture to try one again.

@Keyman62421 Never used them but I got some insight on them from @Bigragu. Maybe ask him. I forget which model he was talking about back then.

It was a while back but I remember that the front element looked milky and looked like it was peeling like an onion...

I installed a LPVO on one of my powder burners just to compare performance to a Strike Eagle on one of my other PB. The Monstrum Spectre scope is performing eye to eye with the Strike Eagle and has over 1k rounds under it and costs 4x less. Could be a one off but it is my experience of a sample of 1, it is holding up and fighting above it's class.

I tried one of the monstrum prismatics and it was terrible. Optics were about what i expected for the price, fit snd finish on all the metal was abhorrent though.

I ordered a 3-18 x 50 and sent it back. Optics was not that great and the side focus was way off, fifty yard focus showed 15 on the scope. The scope looked good and all fit and finish was top notch but it was heavy.
