I too have looked into this, and as Keone has pointed out, the most generous "mods" I have done was to the trigger on my Crosman F4. There's some videos on YouTube that show a few different things. One addresses the trigger smoothness and pull by using a 5x8x2.5mm RC bearing. While doing this, some people also remove the "lawyer" spring from the bottom of the trigger at the same time. The other "mod" involves replacing the M3x5mm factory trigger adjustment screw with a M3x8mm screw, which provides much better adjustment and can drastically lighten the "2nd-stage" pull on the trigger. I ended up doing all of the above, with the exception of removing the "lawyer" spring, although I am considering yanking that out too someday. But even with just adding the bearing and swapping the machine screws on the trigger, it makes an amazing difference in the trigger pull. Other than that, I am not sure what else I would "mod," although figuring out a way to mount some iron sights to this air rifle is enticing.
