Mods FX Ranchero Carbine in .177 & .22 Photos

I'm sure that 250bar is OK and within the tubes tolerances. I've never filled my Ranchero from a Dive Tank, but would imagine that it is very hard to get it spot onto 220 bar (which is such an odd specific number anyway and hard to get accurately via the fill gauge). So I would imagine that FX have chosen that pressure with a degree of overfill in mind. If they had stayed that 250 bar Was OK, then most people would be filling it past 250 and maybe that's pushing it too much. Even with a Hills pump, something in my psyche never fills it to below 220 anyway.

I may be wrong, (I'll have to check) I read somewhere and I think it was on the air tube itself that it was tested to 300 bar.
Also I had a ,22 cal 40 fpe Daystate Huntsman that had a 250 bar fill sticker.

We are not talking about bursting a 100psi bike tube or 90 psi pop bottle. This is 3200 psi in metal. Let's not speculate or imagine on this topic. Do you have documentation that shows that tube being 250 bar capable?

Hi you know there's a high probability that there will not be any official documentation on this. Because if there were, then we'd be discussing the possibility of upping it again. Ive been happily filling it to 250 for a while now. Enjoy your shooting.

Sure no problem, sorry it took so long, to much to do and not enough time....
so, in my twisted little mind a 250 bar fill is no big deal since it was tested to 340 bar, but 250 bar is the limit that I will fill to.

Given it is tested to 340 and you have a reg, I don't think it is twisted to think 250 could be ok. I'm using mine as a back yard / walk around pest gun so I'm good with my 10 shots from 230. Once the chipmunks go away, I'll be sending mine in for a larger air tube and barrel to get more shots.

I want to put a 15" barrel on mine and a longer air tube also
