Moderator/ Muzzle Break/ Suppressor

I have decided on the Texan 457CF/ Carbine.

What should I get:

A moderator? 

Shroud?

Or muzzle break? 

And what effect other then decibel reduction will they have on the rifle?

How would they attach to the short barrel.

Would the increased length with a shroud/moderator have a increase in performance?

It all depends on how quiet you need it..maximum suppression a 2" x 9" custom shroud it could be larger but it defeate the purpose of buying a carbine..moderate suppression a roning with the extension with work ok ...muzzle break 0 suprecion ..it only helps with the recoil of the pcp for a more precise shoot..

Do you a have any info on the ronin or a a link to site info? 

I have found only a couple of options. 

Talon Tunes Moderator: 24 × 4 × 4 in but its listed for the long barrel Texan. 

Hunter Supply Short Shroud: 5.5 inches addition to over all length

DFL: 2 x 10.5 inches EMPEROR v3

You are going to need AT LEAST 3x-4x Emperors put together in order to quiet that 457 Texan Or have Neil Clague or Rapid Roy Kasten custom make you one Or ask Donny maybe he can offer a 3-4x Emperor long seamless one.. Its gonna HAVE TO BE HUGE in order to quiet THAT GUN DOWN. Like an 8 D-CELL Mag Lite LONG. I have finished with custom made PRINGLES CAN SIZED LDCs for my large bore Evanix guns that work after experimenting with lots of failures in the process.

I have looked at this: 2 x 10.5 inches EMPEROR V3. It would take the 457 Carbine from 39 inches to approximate length of 50 inches. That kind of defeats the purposes of having the carbine.

Has anyone tried the Hunter Supply Short Shroud: 5.5 inches. I have not seen to many reviews on it and most of them are conflicting. If it lowers the decibels a few notches I would be happy with it. The over all length of the gun should be close to 45 inches. That I would be very happy with.

Get a DonnyFl Ronin 50 cal. It was not on his website the last time I looked but it is what he suggested when I contacted him. Not mousefart quiet, but cuts the bark down a lot. You can still add the extension to it to make it quieter. Here is a picture of mine installed on my carbine .457.

I would go with some one who could machine me a 9 x 2 1/4 custom shroud ... it should be a easy machining. ..it will be quieter than the ronin almost same price .
