Moderator for Crosman Challenger 2009

Hello everyone! I’m looking for anyone that has knowledge or pics of a moderator on a Crosman Challenger 2009. Clearance issues at the end of the barrel seem to pretty much eliminate almost every option I see. Any input would be appreciated

The way I see it, the only option is to have the tube cut and threaded.

I have a somewhat similar set-up but my tube’s tip, with a fill port attached, is in almost direct correlation to the barrel’s.

Piece of advice: Most LDC adapters for the 22xx/13xx barrel (approximately 11.05mm) is a loose fit when fitted into the Challenger barrel.

I figured there wasn’t going to be a simple solution. I even debated trying to find a longer barrel to avoid cutting the air tube, or even tapping the end of the metal barrel shroud that was on it that holds the front sight.

As for the 22xx/13xx LDC adapter and since it’s going to be a loose fit, you could sleeve your Challenger barrel with a plastic bag (test various thicknesses) as you would garb your $&@? with a condom, then slide the adapter in.

The aforesaid will self-center, believe me, and be very secure even without a set screw.
