I bought this Daisy model 26 at a yard sale today, cheap. It is missing the forestock. I might never find the missing part but...
I got one for Christmas one year when I was a kid. The forearm was a weakness in that model. Mine broke in short order. I should say the latch broke that locked it back so it would fire. Had to cock it and hold the forearm back to get it to fire. Not conducive to good accuracy

JG air guns has some parts but the unknown would be my concern and something like this is a money pit for sure but again it is not my money

A model 26 was my first BB gun. My best friend gave it to me after he got a new Crosman M1 carbine. The model 25 had been in a bike crash and the barrel had been bent and straightened, the forearm wouldn't latch and had to be held in to fire. I got to where I could pretty much hit my target using huge amounts of Kentucky windage, but it died after a few months.
