Well I've been messing with casting some pellet and my mk2 impact 600 mm running a tungsten hammer a 720 plenum and a extra power plenum I turned down the pieces in the pellet mold so the complete skirt is filled with lead there dropping at 56 gr my reg is set just under 160 bar found the pellets running right around 920 fps for a magazine before I hit the regulator it's shooting pretty good at 50 yards have to do some more testing but so far it's promising

Hit the shovel 3 out 3 at 50 yards and the knife 2 out 3 times

i wasn't expecting to get 105 ftlbs out of it jeeze

Dang, hits like a sledgehammer! What's the process for making your own? You said "mold" so I'm assuming they're not swaged. Pouring one at a time?

No I got a 2 cavity

So the skirt is solid lead? Seems like they would tumble. Do you have any better pictures of your pellets? You should get some cool slug molds and experiment.

They could be tumbling have to shoot some paper to check it out I want to use pellets because they don't fly as far as slugs the skirt is there to keep them from tumbling
