MK1 Brocock Bantam Hammer Spring Adjustment?

I'm still waiting on my Altaros regulator to show up for my Brocock Bantam MK1 project, but in the mean time I've been doing some reading on tuning PCP airguns with aftermarket regulators installed. From my understanding, in order to optimize performance I will most likely have to reduce hammer spring tension, turning this unregulated PCP into a regulated one.

That said, I'm not too familiar with the inner workings of the Brocock Bantam. Does anyone on here know how to change the hammer spring tension on the MK1 Brocock Bantam?

There is no "adjustment" per se. Not sure if you have the Slingshot hammer or not, but tuning for a regulator will include either adjusting the slingshot hammer, cutting coils off your original spring or experimenting with aftermarket springs. I wound up going with the aftermarket spring approach when I did my 2 compatto's.

It's a .25, so no slingshot. Which is why I'm going down this road. Without a slingshot or regulator this thing is atrocious on air consumption.

Sounds like I will have to play with some springs, I figured this might be what I would end up having to do.

Here is a good thread, if you haven't seen it. It deals a good bit with the slingshot, but on my .22 I turned the slingshot into a solid hammer just like the .25
