Missouri squirrel season off to a good start. For my son that is!

Squirrel season opened Saturday in Missouri. Today my son took his first of the season. He took this squirrel at 51 yards with my Benjamin discovery in .22. I handed him his crosman m4-177 for a follow up if needed. No follow up needed. One shot kill at 51 yards. Today is his birthday also, what a shot for the birthday boy! Happy birthday little man!!!

Over 50 years ago, when I was a little older that your son, my Dad gave me a Slavia 618 pellet rifle. I still have it. Whatever you give him, make sure it will last because he might just have it when he is a senior citizen
