Missouri/Ozarks Hunting Meetup

Howdy all!

With Squirrel Season Opening soon I would like to try and Schedule a Hunt/Meetup/Plinking weekend with the local Airgunners.

I have access to a few private land farms or we could all get together on some public Conservation areas.

The past couples years we have held some meetups and even a Squirrel Hunting Competition. Turnout has been steady, but always looking to grow the group and welcome new airgunners or those who haven't been able to come in the past.

Attached are a few pictures of past events and a few personal hunts from the years.

Weather is looking decent for a morning squirrel hunt opening day. We could do a virtual squirrel hunt competition. Post up your opening day hauls from your hunting locations and in case of a tie, heaviest squirrel wins. Bragging rights for awards.

Sounds like fun! What part of the Ozarks are you guys located in?

I am located in the Springfield area and JoeDirt199 is up around St.Louis.

We tried a meet up mid way near columbia but that conservation land was pretty well hunted. Neat property just very primative camping. The good company made up for the lack of squirrels and facilities.

Instead of heaviest for tie breaker, longest from nose to tip of tail for those who don't have a scale.

I'll try to remember to pack a tape measure for this weekend hunt/camp haha! (Might have to use a few Miller Lite cans for reference from the night before hunting if I forget the tape)

Still have this trophy that was made for our last get together when everyone got skunked and it came back with me.... it's needing a good home haha 🐿

You do good work. That weekend was too warm and windy for good squirrel hunting. Sam had us set up at camp between food and toiletries.
