Missouri/Arkansas Squirrel Hunt

Good Evening Everyone!

Its that time of year again where the weather is nice and cool out making Squirrel Hunting a blast! No ticks, no sweating, and the leaves are falling so the squirrels are easy to spot. If anyone in the SW Missouri area wants to plan on getting together and doing a Public Land Hunting trip just post on this forum and we will try to get a date set. This is open to anyone who has an airgun and wants to get out and hunt some squirrels. If you don't know how to hunt squirrel that is not an issue. Myself and Kao(a good buddy) we will be able to set you up with all of the information you need. 

Plinking, Tuning, and eating good food would also be on the agenda. 

I hope there is some interest in this opportunity to get together and talk/shoot airguns! Thanks for reading!

Also if anyone is from Arkansas that knows of some good public land I have been dying for a trip to AR for a smallgame hunt! Thanks in advance!

I live in Missouri Truman lake area sounds really good.Just wondering when you were thinking of going hunting? For me it would take some planning to get off work beings I’m on call most of the time.

I actually hunt on a large plot of private land up in the Fristoe, MO area next to Truman Lake. Its my buddies permission, but we also like to hunt the corps land around Truman Lake and the Pomme De Terre Lake. We would most likely plan the get together in December or January since that is a hot time for Squirrel Activity. The males are out chasing females so its usually an action packed time to get out there. We will most likely try and camp out if the weather permits or just meet up for a full day hunt/hangout. Just let me know if you can swing it and we will tell you where to meet us when the weekend comes up.

Hey Newmember1958,

When the time gets a bit closer to end of December and Beginning of January ill post a solid date. So keep an eye out for that, but I'm leaning towards January 2nd.
