MIRACLE REUSABLE THREAD LOCKER

Posted this a few months back. I've been using it for about 5 years now and it is really great stuff. I discovered it when tuning my Marauder. I found that the hammer throw would move around after several shots. People came up with the idea of drilling and tapping a grub screw in the hammer. But, VC3 works great and allows you to move it and still hold. Way better than loctite for that application. really good stuff.

One tip if you still want to use locktite. You don't need a torch to make it release on screws or nuts ect. Get you handy soldering iron, let it warm up nice and hot then touch it to the screw, nut or bolt and wait for the ghost(smoke). No fire needed. Also plumbers putty works well and doesn't require the wait to cure that vibra-tite does.

Ditto .... what Crusher stated. Exactly what I started using it for, my Marauder and now use it on a lot of things that need readjusting.

It does work very well. I only applied it to the section of the threads I would be using (center of the throw) and letting it dry for about 10 minutes. I suppose you could put it on all the threads but I didn't want to get "too much" and cause it to be gummy. Clean thread to get it started and all.
This pic is crap but it give you the idea. It was cold and I didn't see that camera (iphone) hadn't focused properly but you get the idea.

The nice thing is, if I want to go in or out a couple of turns, the screw stays where I leave it. Exactly what I wanted.

"intenseaty22"So looks like they have 3 sizes of this stuff available. Would the small tube be sufficient. I don’t tend to do too many adjustments these days.

If you go to that link Chuck put up, you will see that little tube there. That is what I bought last time I ordered. Two years ago.... and I still haven't used it up :)
