People serve for different reasons and have different expectations. I appreciate all that took the oath and served honorably.
Insults should be withheld. What our ancestors did or didn't do is a nice footnote in history but, what does that have to do with today and someone asking if a company has a military or LEO discount? I'm glad I didn't live through the issues my grandfather did during his day. I am happy to see my best friend get his military discount at Lowes too! I still remember when the state highway in front of my grandfather's house was paved when I was in grade school too though he never complained about it, at least that I heard.
